Introducing our national Ready for School partner: Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Building on our longstanding commitment to education is one way we can motivate students, improve families and help communities prosper, all while engaging and inspiring advisors and associates to give back and connect with one another. Our goal is to pave the way for future generations to achieve their dreams, one student at a time.

With Ready for School, we’ve created a philanthropic centerpiece aligned with our values. After successfully launching locally in Tampa Bay, Florida, we’re proud to announce a nationwide expansion – powered by our new national partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Advancing a shared mission

To empower youth to thrive academically, socially and emotionally, Raymond James has made a national pledge of $10 million over three years and partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This collaboration reflects our firm’s commitment to impact-driven philanthropy, community engagement and holistic youth development – inside, outside and beyond the classroom.

Funding for Boys & Girls Clubs of America will support educational achievement, emotional well-being and access to essential resources like mentorship, nutrition and mental health support.

Expanding our reach

As part of this new partnership, Raymond James will provide dedicated pass-through funding to Clubs in Tampa, Florida; Atlanta; Memphis, Tennessee; Southfield, Michigan; New York City; Dallas; Chicago; Los Angeles and Miami. This endowment will strengthen each Club’s capacity to deliver impactful learning experiences to its members, both throughout the school year and during summer.

These locations were chosen to maximize the impact Raymond James has in the communities where our associates live and work throughout the country. But our impact can be felt everywhere in between. Raymond James associates, advisors and clients everywhere are encouraged to volunteer with their local Club to take part in year-round opportunities, creating a network of dedicated difference-makers spanning every market where our firm has a presence.

A focus on academia

Our investment in the Boys & Girls Clubs’ programs is essential to the Ready for School mission. The support students receive from the Clubs directly contributes toward their success in academics and future career readiness. Programs like Project Learn, which reinforces classroom learning through tutoring and enrichment, and Summer Brain Gain, which combats summer learning loss with hands-on, project-based modules, help youth stay on track, build confidence and graduate prepared for college and careers.

Inspiring tomorrow’s leaders

As part of our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Raymond James is the exclusive presenting partner of the Youth of the Year initiative, honoring standout teens nationwide to create meaningful engagement moments that inspire ambition and affirm the value of every young leader’s story. Elevating the voices of young people and creating a platform from which to lead others helps to not only build up individuals, but also the communities they will inspire through their leadership.
