Raymond James welcomes New York advisor group managing over $800 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed a team of six financial advisors to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Ted Desautels, Northeast assistant division director for RJFS.

The advisors are Mike McNaughton, Dan Schmitz, Greg Schuler, Traci Lewis, Jeff Santillo and John Woodworth. They arrive from Commonwealth Financial Network where they managed over $800 million in client assets. Operating as OakWood Financial Services (OFS) in Rochester, New York, the team serves a variety of clients including high-net-worth families and individuals, business owners and retirees.

“Our clients expect thoughtful, coordinated planning – not just investment selection,” said McNaughton, co-founder of OFS. “Raymond James gives us the technology, investment platform and resources to serve clients thoughtfully, while preserving our independence and client-first mindset.”
