Raymond James welcomes Massachusetts advisor managing approximately $150 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Alex Sarmiento, CRPC™, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Bill Drew, New York-New England regional director for RJA.

Sarmiento arrives from Wells Fargo where he managed approximately $150 million in client assets. Operating as Sarmiento Wealth of Raymond James in Worcester, Massachusetts, he provides financial planning and guidance to families and professionals preparing for retirement, navigating inheritance decisions and building long-term strategies.

Sarmiento brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role as vice president of investments. His experience is backed by a bachelor’s degree in education and history from Worcester State University alongside the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ professional designation.
